Information for Authors: Submitting scientific papers according to Springer instructions

The Organizing Committee of the CAIS’26 is pleased to invite researchers, academics, and practitioners to submit their original scientific contributions. The conference proceedings will follow the publication standards of Springer, one of the world’s leading academic publishers. To ensure a high-quality scientific outcome and smooth publication process, all submissions must strictly comply with the technical, ethical, and formatting requirements defined below. Authors are strongly encouraged to carefully read these instructions before preparing and submitting their manuscripts.   All submitted papers must be prepared using the official Springer paper template corresponding to the Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series. This ensures consistency in formatting and compatibility with the final publication process. Authors are invited to adhering to Springer template which can be downloaded here.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

  • Papers must be written in clear, precise, and professional English, using correct grammar and academic writing conventions.
  • Submissions should demonstrate a sound scientific structure, including a clear problem statement, methodology, results, and conclusions.
  • The acceptable length of submissions is:
    • Short papers: minimum of 6+ pages
    • Regular papers: minimum of 12+ pages
  • Figures, tables, and equations must be clearly labeled, properly referenced in the text, and of sufficient quality for publication.
  • All references must follow the Springer citation style and include complete bibliographic information.

Ethical and Originality Requirements

  • Submitted papers must represent original work that has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere.
  • Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited.
  • All authors listed on the paper must have made a significant scientific contribution to the work.

Instructions for Evaluating and Selecting Papers

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous, transparent, and unbiased evaluation process supervised by the Conference Program Committee Chairs. The evaluation process is designed to ensure that accepted papers meet international scientific and publication standards. The selection process is carried out in multiple phases. During the initial evaluation phase, each submitted manuscript is screened to verify compliance with the Springer CCIS formatting requirements, relevance to the core themes of the conference (i.e., Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and related interdisciplinary applications), and the plagiarism rate below 15%. Submissions that fail to meet these initial requirements will be excluded at this stage and will not proceed to peer review.

Papers that pass the initial screening are forwarded to the conference reviewers, composed of recognized experts in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and related fields. Each paper is reviewed based on the following criteria. Firstly, originality (i.e., the paper must present novel ideas, methods, or applications that contribute meaningfully to the field and have not been published previously). Secondly, scientific quality where the research must demonstrate methodological rigor, logical consistency, appropriate data analysis, and well-supported conclusions. Thirdly, significance of the contribution that should have clear academic or practical value, with potential impact on future research, technological development, or real-world applications. Lastly, clarity of manuscript presentation that should be well-structured, clearly written, and easy to follow. Figures, tables, and explanations should effectively support the scientific content. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, papers with high scientific merit and strong relevance to the conference themes will be selected for acceptance and publication in the conference proceedings.
